I am currently working on a range of books related to the history my home town Redditch, and using the material I have obtained both personally,
from my own experience, and, also, of course, my own local history research.
These span my own experience of the town from childhood, research I have carried out in producing presentations, exhibitions and talks, and the
time I have spent as a volunteer at Forge Mill Needle Museum and Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre.
Athough all the books are available in a printed loop wire bound version, they are all are available as a free ‘flip book’ and pdf download.
I have also scanned and made available a number of historic publications related to the history of Redditch. These can be found at

Redditch in the Snow - Winter 1962/63
The winter of 1962–63 was one of the coldest winters on record
in the United Kingdom. When the snow hit Redditch, I was 19,
and I set out with my brother Vince to record the effect on
Redditch at this time.
This modest book records a selection of the photographs I took
with my first 35mm camera and I have added some descriptive
text to give a view of the town at that time.
